Finally Done...

About a year after Luke the Lion was started, it finally sits completed at my desk... or somewhere or other. The instructions for putting it together, though slightly hard to follow at first, weren't as difficult as they had seemed. Lots of pins, needles and stuffing basically sums up my experience of making this lion. Though this, particularly the stuffing, is what made it even more fun! Finally, with all of the problems overcome he can now sit on the shelf with my other creations!

A Roar of a Task

One of my recent projects (spacing over about 9 months) has been knitting Luke the Lion. This project, aside from the corny title, has definitely been much more challenging than it appears! Holes, getting the back on the front, casting on, forgetting the row and decreasing have just been some of the many occurrences that seemed to go wrong. Finally, after many mistakes, all the knitting is finally done, so I now have to work out how it all fits together!
